A car parking shade for home costs Rs. 800 to 870 per sqft in Islamabad and Rawalpindi with our tensile fabric. A single car shade of about 180 sqft comes to Rs. 144,000 to 156,600. Very small shades can cost more per sqft, because cutting fabric for a small area wastes more of it. Here is how that looks for common driveways:

Why small shades cost more per sqft?
Tensile fabric is cut from a roll. On a big shade the offcuts are a small share of the total. On a small one they’re a big share, and that waste ends up in the price.
So if you’re deciding between a tight single car shade and a slightly wider one, ask for both quotes. The wider one sometimes costs less per sqft than you’d expect.
Wall mounted or freestanding car porch shade?
Most homes can take either. Your wall and the way you drive in decide it.
Choose wall mounted if:
You have a solid wall or structure to fix to
You don’t want columns in the driveway
Your gate or turning space is tight
Choose freestanding if:
There’s no wall you can fix to
You want the shade to stand in front of the garage or gate
You’d rather not load your house wall at all
A wall mounted shade is fixed with brackets to an existing wall, so nobody digs foundations in your driveway. We check the wall on site before promising anything. What is a car porch shade made of?
Ours is tensile fabric stretched tight over a steel frame. The tension matters. Loose fabric flaps in wind and wears out fast, while a properly tensioned shade stays flat and quiet. The fabric carries a 5-year fabric warranty.
Shade net is the cheaper option you’ll see quoted. It cuts some sun, but it doesn’t stop rain or control high wind pressures and that’s a big difference when your car sits outside through monsoon season.
How big should your car parking shade for home be?
Start with the car. A typical sedan is around 15 ft long and 6 ft wide, and SUVs run longer. Then add room for people.
Two rules of thumb we use when planning:
Add 2 to 3 ft on each side so doors open fully
Add a little extra at the front and back so you’re not parking inch by inch
That’s how we get to 10 x 18 ft for one car and 20 x 18 ft for two.

What does the per sqft rate include? Fabric only, or fabric, frame and fitting?
Is the frame engineered steel with proper anchoring for wind? Or is it fabric on thin pipes?
Is the warranty in writing? And is it on the fabric, the frame, or both?
Will someone see the site before quoting? A quote from a phone call can’t account for your wall, your gate or your slope.
